Last year, a North Carolina representative deceived the Democratic voters who elected her and switched parties — Republicans a one-vote supermajority in the state House of Representatives.

Since then, the far-right GOP has had the chance to advance their extremist agenda; but they’ve also proven that their party is far more concerned with fighting culture wars than with governing and that their political infighting will derail and delay even the most essential legislation.
