If Donald Trump chooses Elise Stefanik to be his running mate it would be a disaster for the Hudson Valley.

Stefanik’s campaign just came off of a record-breaking fundraising haul, and a vice presidential nomination would give her access to some of the largest GOP super PACs and MAGA dark money donors in the country.

Where’s the first place she would look to spend money? Right here in New York.

They understand just as well as we do that the House majority runs through New York. And this seat right here in the Hudson Valley could very well determine who controls Congress for the next few years.

And a MAGA-controlled Congress led by Vice President Elise Stefanik would lead to an extremist, far-right government.

People don’t want their fundamental rights ripped away. They don’t want their Social Security and Medicare benefits cut. And they don’t want more deadly weapons of war to continue to find themselves in the hands of criminals.

But these are all things that could happen if we lose in November and Elise Stefanik gains even more power.

We know that this race could determine control of Congress, and they know it too.
