Lindsey was the only lawmaker in Pennsylvania to vote against BOTH of the reports that came out of the Basic Education Funding Committee’s report following last year’s hearings. And with good reason.
While the report did include proposed additional funding for our schools, the bottom line is that it just isn’t enough to keep our public schools afloat for the long-haul. And if you know Lindsey, you know that bare minimum funding just doesn’t cut it for our kids.
Lindsey said it best: We have a lot of work to do if we’re going to continue rebuilding Pennsylvania’s strong public education system. But now, she’s got the mic and the spotlight to make it happen.
