In a remarkable show of unity and purpose, 11 Latino-led organizations have come together under the banner of the Minnesota Latino Leadership Alliance (MiLLA) to announce a live press conference to unveil their consolidated 2024 Public Policy Agenda. This collaborative effort highlights the Latino community's strength and consensus on vital public policy issues. The event is scheduled for *Monday, February 12, from 9:30 to 10:30 am*?and will be broadcast live from the Capitol Press Room.

With every member organization endorsing this shared agenda, MiLLA's Public Policy Agenda underscores strategic initiatives that aim to tap into the potential of Latino Minnesotans and advocate for systemic changes that benefit all. The agenda highlights critical areas such as Economic Development and Workforce, Education, Arts and Cultural Development, Health Care and Wellbeing, Democracy and Voting Rights, Belonging and Integration, and a Clean Environment.

The press conference is a call to policymakers and a clear message to the community at large, signaling the collective resolve to address opportunities for growth and equity within the Latino population. The agenda has been meticulously crafted through a series of discussions and agreements among MiLLA's member organizations, ensuring that it truly represents the voices and priorities of Minnesota's Latino community.

Before the press conference, there will be a rally at the Capitol steps at 8:30 am to support Minnesota's first Latino Museum. This project epitomizes the Arts and Cultural Development initiative. The bonding request is led in large part by House Representative Perez-Vega, who is championing this bill with strong support from many Latino-led organizations, including the alliance.
