Dean’s all about saying the quiet part out loud — and lately the one issue his colleagues in Congress can’t seem to get over the line: the border.
Here’s a sneak peak:
Border security is a massive crisis and a failure of multiple administrations. It needs to be addressed and is a national security crisis. We need to change our asylum policy. It needs to be adjudicated in countries of origin. Right now, our laws force migrants who want to come to America to cross the border. If they are welcomed, after the adjudication process, to the US then we bring them here.
