Today the Florida Supreme Court is hearing arguments to decide whether Floridians will be allowed to vote to amend the state constitution and protect access to reproductive freedom.
I am so proud of the role I played in helping bring this issue in front of the court, but this work is far from over. I'd like to continue being a pro-choice champion for our state in Congress, but in November, I'm going up against an anti-choice Republican opponent – will you chip in any amount to ensure we don't fall short against them in November? From my time as a student protester in the 60's to my three-decade long career as an elected official, I've never wavered in my belief that we must have total control over our reproductive health.

But MAGA Republicans have set their sights on taking our healthcare decisions hostage, and now more than ever, we need pro-choice voices to stand up to their wrongdoing.
Moving forward, I'm ready to continue fighting for access to abortion and contraception – both in our state and in Congress – but the stakes for my next race are too high to ignore.
