John,
As we step into Black History Month, let's celebrate the profound impact the Black community has had on Delaware's story. Throughout our state's history, Black people have played pivotal roles in shaping America.

This month is an opportunity to recognize and honor the achievements, resilience, and cultural contributions made every day by Black Delawareans. From civil rights pioneers like Louis L. Redding to leaders like Lisa Blunt Rochester making a difference today, their stories are integral to Delaware's identity.
As we reflect on our history, let's also commit to creating a more inclusive future. The Delaware Democratic Party remains steadfast in its dedication to equality, justice, and opportunity for all.
Thank you,
Coby Owens
