Trump and his MAGA worshippers are obsessed with attacking Taylor Swift.

Why? Because nothing infuriates them more than a successful, powerful woman encouraging people to get involved in politics.

As a father to my daughter and an Army veteran who served alongside remarkable women who sacrificed for our country, it infuriates me to see Republicans try to tear down a talented and successful woman, while idolizing a man facing 91 criminal charges and over 20 accusations of sexual assault.

Our campaign admires amazing artists like Taylor Swift. Allowing these misogynist attacks harms the aspiration of young women who deserve respect and equal opportunities in entertainment and business. Let’s send a powerful message to MAGA that we will not tolerate their feeble attempts at discrimination. The Handmaid’s Tale is supposed to be a warning of dystopia and not a guidebook to follow, but somehow the MAGA crowd wasn’t given that memo.
