John,
Today we're launching a 48-hour Flash Fund to help EMILYs List women FLIP the House, including four just-announced new endorsements! We'll tell you more about these incredible women in a moment. Will you donate right now to help reach our $75,000 goal before midnight tomorrow?
As of this week, EMILYs List has four new House endorsements on our roster. Our new endorsements are joining 31 Democratic pro-choice women running to flip the House this November and protect reproductive freedom nationwide.
- As a fifth generation Northern Californian, Jessica Morse (CA-03) has deep roots in the 3rd District. She's dedicated her career to protecting our national security while working at the State Department and Defense Department, and we know she has what it takes to flip this seat in November.
- Palo Alto Councilmember Julie Lythcott-Haims (CA-16) is running to fill an open seat. Julie is a parent, educator, lawyer, former Stanford dean, and an author. If elected, she would be the first openly LGBTQ+ Black woman elected to Congress.
- Luz Maria Rivas (CA-29) is an engineer, educator, and public servant from the San Fernando Valley running to fill an open seat. She's served in the California State Legislature since 2018, where her priority has been to uplift and empower underrepresented communities.
- State senator and practicing OB-GYN Kelly Morrison (MN-03) is running for an open seat. She's focused on expanding the progress that Minnesota has made on abortion rights. As a physician, she knows how important it is that medical decisions are made between patients and their doctors — not the government.
It's absolutely critical that we flip the House this cycle in order to protect and restore abortion rights. We're proud to endorse these women because we know they're up to the challenge. Will you donate before midnight tomorrow to join the fight and help these 35 EMILYs List candidates flip the House this November?
