SB 1746 is an anti-worker, anti-freedom bill.

Dear John,

Tomorrow morning, the Senate Rules Committee will hear an anti-worker, anti-freedom bill that requires all Floridians to get permission from the state to be a member of their public employee union. This is not less government, it's not personal freedom and it's not local control. Tell the Senate Rules Committee to oppose SB 1746.

Every educator in Florida — regardless of if they are a union member or not — deserves support, adequate resources, and salaries that reflect their professionalism and enable them to live comfortably in their communities. Every educator deserves the freedom to join their union, without the state requiring arbitrary forms which only seek to disenfranchise them.

Email members of the Senate Rules Committee today and tell them to oppose SB 1746.

In solidarity,

Andrew Spar, President

NEA, AFT, AFL-CIO
