We at NIRH are thrilled to share with you our fourth edition of the Local Reproductive Freedom Index (LRFI), a biennial scorecard that analyzes the reproductive freedom landscapes in the 50 most populous cities and counties across the country.

 

 

The LRFI looked back on a time of intense turmoil in our country — January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022, which covered the year of and the time since the overturn of Roe v. Wade. So much has changed since then – for better or worse – and the LRFI shows where there has been promising growth for reproductive freedom in cities across the country.

 

John, I know you know how important the fight for reproductive freedom – including access to abortion – is at this moment. We are proud to offer a resource that not only provides an in-depth analysis, but concrete policies advocates like you can work together to fight for.
