Congress is so close to passing this critical bill!

Friend,

Since the fall of Roe v. Wade, physicians have been unable to provide medically necessary care to pregnant people. And women -- especially Black women, survivors of abuse, and those living in poverty -- are increasingly being surveilled and persecuted.(1)

It's never been more clear that reproductive care is essential health care, but more states put anti-abortion bills on the docket every legislative session. Even in Ohio, where voters passed an abortion protection amendment by a wide majority, legislators are making an end run around the state's constitution to ban abortion anyway.(2)

These barriers put the lives and mental health of millions at risk, and we need national protections. There's a bill in Congress right now that would ensure access to abortion care. Let's rally behind it to protect the health of all pregnant people!

Tell Congress: Support the Women's Health Protection Act!

Access to health care should never be up for debate. But with anti-abortion extremists controlling the Supreme Court and many state legislatures, we need congressional action to defend these fundamental rights.

The Women's Health Protection Act (H.R.12/S.701) would:

  • Require abortion always be available to protect a pregnant person's health
  • Stop extreme abortion bans early in pregnancy
  • Prevent states from forcing doctors to provide medically inaccurate information, perform unnecessary ultrasounds, or requiring waiting periods
  • Protect patients' right to travel out of state to seek abortion care

Majority support for the WHPA is in reach in both houses of Congress -- we just need a few more legislators to get on board. Tell your senators and representatives to protect the health of all pregnant people and back this vital bill today.

Sign the Petition: Support the WHPA!

Yours in the fight for our health,
