On December 16, 2023, the Biden Administration released a road-map to dam removal after extensive negotiations between six sovereigns and the federal government. This package promises $300 million over the next ten years to restoring native fish in the Snake and Columbia Rivers, and pledges support for new tribally sponsored energy projects and a comprehensive replacement plan and federal investments identified for all services provided by the dams. Whether you are a fisher, farmer, or concerned citizen, this is a huge step forward.
In the spirit of this historic moment, we are proud to announce the return of the Snake River Dinner Hour webinar series for 2024! We are thrilled to invite you to learn more about the recipes to save salmon and solutions to support Northwest communities.
