As part of Phase 2 of our building’s modernization, construction by the Department of General Services (DGS) will begin on the 2nd floor on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at our headquarters at 1100 4th Street SW. All affected Walk-In Center staff and managers will move to assigned temporary space effective February 8.
Beginning February 8, all of DOB's public-facing in-person service will be temporarily conducted in shared space with Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP) staff on the other side of the second floor. Our in-person service hours will remain unchanged, but may be adjusted based on space constraints and DOB and DLCP's operating needs.
