This email is being shared on behalf of a non profit organziation whose mission is to create opportunities that enable play in order to combat social isolation, foster inclusive communities, and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities. Specifically, the User Research Department provides resources and services to the gaming industry and organizations who are interested in making accessible player experiences for people with disabilities.?

*Who is offering the opportunity?*


* A Video Gaming studio

*What you are being asked to do:*


* A Gaming studio?s User Research team is conducting an in-person study in their Kirkland, WA, playtest labs and is looking for four English-speaking players who are deaf or hard of hearing to give feedback on an in-development game.
* During this 5-hour playtest session, participants will be asked to do certain activities related to video gaming. Participants will be expected to answer questions related to these activities.
* Their responses and gameplay will be recorded.?
* The playtesting and feedback will take approximately 5 hours in total. Lunch will be provided. Sign-language interpreters will be available onsite.
* For this opportunity, the User Research team is looking for?*four*English-speaking players who are deaf or hard of hearing, play video games using an Xbox controller, and enjoy action-adventure games?(e.g., Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, God of War: Ragnarok)

*How will you be compensated for your time:*


* *Playtesting will be scheduled on February 20th, 21st,22nd, and 23rd,2024,*?from 10 am to 3 pm.?
* Each player will be compensated $300 for a 5-hour session if selected to participate.
