Fellow Conservative,

The Senate will soon vote on a massive, irresponsible spending bill that fails to put the interests of Americans first. Ever since Biden released his supplemental spending request <[link removed]> that mashed together open border polices with unaccountable aid to Ukraine and aid to Israel the conservative position has been consistent:



- Secure the Border
- Aid to Ukraine must receive oversight
- Aid to Israel should be considered on its own merits



After months of backroom negotiations, the Senate will now vote on a package that fails to meet any of these requirements. The Senate votes on this bill today. They need to hear from YOU.

It is likely that two versions of this bill will receive a vote. The first version will include provisions that would actually make the crisis at our southern border worse. <[link removed]> It would codify a crisis level allowance of illegal immigrants into the country, and attract more migrants by expanding work permits, parole authority, and free services for illegal immigrants.

The second version would attempt to pass foreign aid without the border provisions but would still fail to provide adequate oversight of the aid being sent. With reports regularly surfacing about the loss of weaponry <[link removed]> or misuse of funds <[link removed]>, the need for a public accounting of the aid sent becomes more and more dire. Yet this bill refuses to do so.

It also includes aid to Israel, but the conflict in the Middle East is vastly different from the conflict in Eastern Europe. The aid should receive individual attention and should not be tied to any other issues.

All of this spending would see over $100 billion added to the national deficit without a clear benefit to the American people. Further—with or without the bad “border security” provisions—it fails on every level to prioritize U.S. national security.
