I’ve seen her work a full day in the private sector and then spend the rest of the evening writing a speech, mobilizing supporters and volunteers, calling donors, and of course showing our cats some love after a long day.
I’ve learned new things about Lauren that impress me every day over the past three years. One of the first she displayed is she’s not afraid to fight for what she believes in. The other is when she sets her mind on something, she gives it everything she’s got.
In times like these, when we don’t know what lies ahead, we need leaders like Lauren. Leaders who keep steady while listening to doctors and science and making decisions based on what’s good for their community. But before Lauren can fight for us….we need to fight for her.
