The only thing Donald Trump accomplished as president was cutting taxes for the ultra wealthy. His 2017 tax cut made the rich richer at the expense of everyone else, and we could expect even more of that should he ever make it back to the White House.
Manufacturing jobs also took a hit in the Trump years, with 1,800 factories closing between 2016 and 2018. Trump lied to these voters that jobs would come back, and left them in the cold.
And while Republicans want to blame Biden for inflation, Trump has proposed a 10% tariff on all foreign-made goods that would cost each American household about $2,000 per year and once again fuel inflation.
Trump is more than just a threat to our democracy. He's also dangerous to working Americans who struggle each and every day to make ends meet.
