When Chris announced that he is running for reelection last month, he kicked off the campaign at the IUPAT District Council 57 training center – a union that represents painters and allied tradespeople in Western PA. 

Team Deluzio was so proud to have IUPAT and USW members and representatives in the audience because unions are at the heart of this campaign.

As a former union organizer, Chris fought alongside fellow workers in Western PA and the United Steelworkers to secure a faculty union at Pitt. He knows what it takes to fight for – and win – union elections. He knows that unions help make sure workers earn better wages, benefits, and working conditions. 

But far-right politicians and their corporate allies are fighting against Chris and unions every step of the way. Chris is running for reelection to fight for the union way of life alongside his fellow union organizers and workers in Western PA.
