John — it’s Adam. I just finished interviewing live on MSNBC with Chris Hayes.
Before I share the details of our discussion, I have to ask: California’s primary is 28 days away. Can you rush any amount to our campaign tonight to help turn out voters?
We discussed the do-nothing Republican majority’s failed attempt to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas earlier today. The whole conduct of their impeachment proceedings — against Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden — is another abuse of the constitutional process.
They are using important protections — like impeachment or censure — as mere political tools, without any basis, and merely to distract from their complete lack of any legislative accomplishments or agenda. It’s so damaging to our institutions.
John, we also discussed the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ ruling that Donald Trump cannot claim presidential immunity from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictment for Trump’s actions inciting the Capitol insurrection.
On the January 6 Committee, we laid out the clear evidence, and after Trump’s repeated attempts to use every trick in the book to evade prosecution, it’s time for a reckoning for the role he played.
One important reason I’m running for U.S. Senate is to continue defending our democracy and holding those who would tear it down to account. California needs a leader with a proven record of taking on the toughest fights and getting results. I’ve done that. Now, I’m ready to take that fight to the Senate.
Early voting across California is happening NOW. Can you rush $10 or whatever you can spare to help our campaign reach more voters?

28 days to go. Your support means the world. Thank you.
