The Republicans unveiled a package which echoes the 2008 TARP bailout of Wall Street. I opposed the Wall Street bailout then and I will oppose this with every fiber of my being.

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin, formerly a Goldman Sachs executive, wants $500 billion that he can secretly disburse to any corporation as he sees fit – period.

Democrats are introducing a package that will get assistance to the workers – the people who make those corporations great, to small businesses, individuals – and will include food aid, medical aid, and all the things that people need in this time of crisis.
