I’m writing you a long email. But it’s extremely important. With everything our country is going through right now, it would mean so much to me if you’d read the whole thing -- then rush $10 before midnight to ensure this never happens to our country again. >>

I won’t mince words: These are difficult times for our country.

Even writing you this email feels out of place.

But there’s too much at stake to sugarcoat the truth -- so here goes:

President Trump and Mitch McConnell have shown zero ability to lead us through this crisis.

I watched President Trump ignore dire warning signs about the severity of this outbreak.

I watched Senate Republicans downplay this crisis -- then go behind our backs and sell stocks to profit.

And even as I type this, McConnell is using this crisis to help large corporations profit at the expense of suffering Americans.

It is downright urgent we defeat this reckless president, defeat his reckless Republican Senate, and ensure this never -- never -- happens to our country again. I’m asking for your $10 because, as I’ve canceled my in-person events, your online support to ensure our Democratic victory has never been more critical than it is at this moment. >>

I’m working as hard as I possibly can to win this crucial Senate race and oust McConnell’s Republican Senate.

But the truth of the matter is, this crisis has caused my campaign’s finances to take a massive hit.

I’ve canceled all our in-person events -- and I would do it again in an instant to preserve our nation’s health.

But I know that your online support is the only lifeline that will rescue my critical race and see us through to victory.
