Taylor Swift rocketed to #2 on Google searches this week after she made
history at the Grammy Awards and announced a new album.

Her MASSIVE following includes millions of young people that Democrats
need to get out and vote this year to defeat Donald Trump.

Now is the time to engage them. Right-wing politicians and media recently
launched an all-out assault on Taylor Swift after a MAGA influencer
declared that the 2024 election would be "MAGA vs Swifties." They've been
peddling conspiracy theories for weeks saying her success (and her
boyfriend’s in football) are a plot to steal the 2024 election.

Obama communications director Dan Pfeiffer agrees Democrats should lean
into this moment – because Swift is popular and MAGA is now even more
fringe.

Right-wing Trump supporters are terrified that Taylor Swift may endorse
Democrats again in 2024 like she did in 2018 and 2020 – mobilizing
millions of loyal fans, including young voters, to defeat Donald Trump.

Republicans should be afraid of Taylor Swift. Last year, a single
Instagram post of hers spurred over 35,000 people to register to vote. And
in her 2020 documentary Miss Americana, Taylor said she wishes she had
spoken out more in 2016 to help defeat Donald Trump.

They fear people voting and want to intimidate Swift into silence.

As Dan Pfeiffer explained last week on Pod Save America, Taylor Swift and
the NFL "are pastimes, well-respected brands, and beloved by millions. 56
million people watched [football] on Sunday night and a little more than 2
million people watch Sean Hannity... most voters don’t know just how far
from the mainstream Republicans have wandered. Therefore, it’s our job to
tell them."
