A three-judge panel in DC has ruled: no one is above the law in America. We believe Trump should be tried for his election lies. A man who tries to take the presidency by force should never be our elected leader. 


Today's ruling covers only Trump's federal election lies – not the individual charges being brought at the state level. Trump has argued for presidential immunity in many of his cases, for instance in Georgia, but so far has found no success with that legal strategy. 

 

Trump's 2020 election lies were plainly contrary to the constitution. He tried to rig the election for himself and disgraced the GOP. His reign has driven the Republican party to extremes we never thought possible. Mike Johnson is the most right-wing speaker in recent history, while the old guard of GOP call for war with Iran.
