Did you hear the news?

I had the opportunity to talk about my favorite topic, clean energy, on CNN last week! Pretty cool, huh?

(I’m about to get on my scientist soapbox. I understand if you’d rather skip it, but at least chip in a few bucks before you go.)

More importantly than getting my face on TV, it was a chance to cut through the climate-denial B.S. that (sadly) dominates the clean energy conversation and deliver some cold, hard facts.

So, CNN is a great start. But up against a half-century of concocted conspiracies, corporate cover-ups, disinformation, willful ignorance, and obstruction, we’d better have a shrewd strategy to get our climate message out there.

We need to ensure that ALL voters – in IL-06, Illinois, and nationwide – understand the stakes of this election.

Because, at this point, a vote for the GOP is a vote to ignore a looming climate catastrophe. A vote for a Democratic majority is a vote for a livable planet and sustainable future. It’s that simple.
