John,

Defend The Guard has seen some major wins recently, and with your help,
they can continue to reach new heights.

Last week, SB 1121 passed committee in Arizona's Senate, and Defend The
Guard was endorsed by the Washington Times editorial board. The LPPA also
began a targeted phone-banking effort to generate buzz about Defend The
Guard as the PA Legislature is back in session this week.

Right now in Maryland, they are fighting to get House Bill 299 out of the
Health and Government Operations Committee. They need just one more vote
for Defend The Guard to pass the committee.

In Vermont, so many people are calling in support of HB 785 that they had
to add another phone operator on the other end of 802-828-2228 (which you
can call right now to support Defend The Guard in Vermont).

Today in South Dakota, HB1191 is being heard by the House Military and
Veterans Affairs Committee.
