I served on the front lines as a Captain in the U.S. Navy for 25 years, and believe me when I say I’ve seen some things I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

I’ve taken down terrorists face to face, performed record-setting deep dives, and dismantled explosives with seconds to spare.

It was hard, but I was never afraid - because I knew I was doing it all to defend the country I love.

Now, I’m working to defend America again, but this time my battlefield is the Senate and my weapons are my grassroots team.
