Like most other seven year olds, Jude is rambunctious and raring to go! His favorite things include theme parks and animals of every kind – including dinosaurs!

But Jude was born with a condition that caused the stiffening of his heart muscles, often making him too out of breath and exhausted as a young child to go on all the adventures he wished for. 

Fortunately, a heart transplant gave this seven year old renewed energy and excitement. And he wished to go to a resort to celebrate. 

Making Jude’s wish come true was especially meaningful for his family: When Jude’s mother was a child, she also faced the same condition Jude had before receiving her own heart transplant – and her own wish! 

Not only did Jude describe attending a resort as one of the best days of his life, but seeing the relief and joy that came from the wish was “1,000 times better” for his mother.
