TRE Trinity Lakes Station
TRE TRINITY LAKES STATION OPENS MONDAY, FEB. 19
TRE?s Richland Hills Station will close after the end of service on Saturday, Feb. 17. Trinity Railway Express will soon make stops at a brand new station in Fort Worth ? Trinity Lakes Station. Construction of the new station is nearing completion.
Trinity Lakes Station is located east of Loop 820 and north of Trinity Boulevard, between the current TRE Richland Hills and Bell stations. The new station will be part of a 1,600-acre master planned community that includes transit-oriented development ? with retail and residential ? called Trinity Lakes.
The new Trinity Lakes Station will open on Monday, Feb. 19.

Fort Worth Central Station Mural Wall
*BLACK HISTORY MONTH AT FORT WORTH CENTRAL STATION*
In celebration of Black History Month, we're taking you through our public art installation at Fort Worth Central Station. The Historic Wall was dedicated on Feb. 24, 2002, to commemorate the important and vibrant African-American commercial and historic warehouse district that existed at the site of Fort Worth Central Station between 1865 and 1940. Working with the State Historic Preservation Office, the Black Historical and Genealogical Society, Historic Fort Worth and many community volunteers, Trinity Metro developed this display to preserve the economic and cultural contributions of this era.
The five panels weave a rich history of business and commerce on the eastern edge of downtown. Fort Worth Council Member Gyna Bivens provided an audio recording to help viewers learn more about this important public art project.
