Friend,
A week ago today, I stood in front of Richmonders as their Mayor and delivered my last State of the City Address. To say that I’m proud of the work we’ve done these past seven years would be the understatement of the century.
We increased funding for public education. We increased pay for teachers and built three new schools. We increased pay for City workers and first responders. We fixed broken infrastructure and brought in new businesses and investments. We added more parks and green space and reduced the City’s reliance on non-renewable energy.
We took what was once the Capital of the Confederacy and turned it into a Capital of Compassion.
We made Richmond the number one place to live in Virginia, and as your Governor I want to do the same for our entire Commonwealth.
Together we have the opportunity to make Virginia’s future brighter, will you join me? [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Levar
