Coming soon...new department-wide grants management system EGX

The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is excited to announce the upcoming implementation of the department-wide grants management system EGX (EGLE Grants System).

Over half of EGLE?s budget is distributed in the form of grants and loans to local units of government and other organizations. These grants and loans serve as an opportunity to support local communities and achieve the department?s mission of protecting public health and the environment.

The new system will provide enhanced tools and a consistent application for communities to apply for grants and interact with EGLE; improved tools for the EGLE team to use reducing administrative time and effort by providing collaborative workspace; and support public transparency through current data on grants issued through EGLE?s various programs.

System updates and information regarding the ?go live? date will be shared through this *EGLE Grant and Loan Opportunities* list.
