A Quick Update from Capitol Hill

First of all, THANK YOU to all of the NumbersUSA activists who have made their voices heard over the past few weeks, particularly those who acted immediately yesterday following the release of the terrible Senate bill. Your voices have been heard, loud and clear, and Senators continue to express opposition to the policies put forward.

There is still time to act! News reports suggest that this bill, which would increase legal immigration by 50,000 a year for five years, codify catch-and-release, grant new work permits, and more, is close to dead. The first procedural vote is set to occur Wednesday, and it would be a victory for sensible immigration policy if that fails.

Keep calling your Senators to encourage them to oppose this bill! If your Senate office tells you they oppose the bill, thank them!
