Dear neighbor,
As our community is impacted by record rainfall and flooding, my team and I are monitoring the situation closely and working with state and local officials to ensure urgently needed resources get to affected areas. I also wanted to share some critical resources for storm updates, rain safety tips, and emergency operations in our area to help you stay prepared. Governor Newsom recently declared a state of emergency for Los Angeles County to support storm response and recovery efforts.
For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911. If you need assistance with a federal agency, please call my Los Angeles office at 323-651-1040. My staff is working throughout the storm and is prepared to assist you.
