I’ve reviewed the Senate’s border bill.

I don’t think it will solve the border crisis. It might make things worse. And
I’m going to oppose it.

Biden created the border crisis — it’s by design. He can and should end his
open border policies today.

Here are reasons why I’m opposing this deal:

—> It hands Alejandro Mayorkas the power to grant asylum claims, and thus
American citizenship, to illegals at the border without immigration courts
review.

—> It codifies catch and release.

—> It gives immediate work permits to anyone claiming asylum, as long as they
pass an initial screening by a bunch of liberal bureaucrats.

—> It gives out 50,000 extra green cards per year for no apparent reason and
guarantees government-funded lawyers for illegals.

—> It lets Biden and Mayorkas continue opposing immigration parole.

I can’t support it for these reasons and more, and I wanted to make sure you
knew.

As I’ve said before, if we don’t have a border, we don’t have a country.

It’s time to actually stop the madness, secure our border, and enforce our
laws — not risk making things worse with half-measures that give radicals like
Mayorkas more power.
