As our nation prepares for the spread of the coronavirus, we’ve seen the
blatant difference in leadership between our Republican leaders and the
Democrats. Republicans have shown that the health and safety of all Americans
as well as protecting American jobs are top priorities. Conversely, Democrats
have shown that they will politicize this health risk in order to push through
their radical far-left agenda for abortion, windmills and voter fraud. 


By stonewalling vital economic relief yesterday, the Democrats are holding the
American people hostage. They are only willing to pass economic aid for the
most vulnerable if we change election laws, enact Green New Deal policies,
bolster labor unions and abandon life. 


And it’s not just national Democrats trying to use the current crisis to
advance their agenda. Right here in Texas, Democrats are trying to leverage the
coronavirus to expand unsafe ballot-by-mail policies that could jeopardize the
integrity of your vote in our upcoming elections!

 

John, these issues have NOTHING to do with the coronavirus or the jobs being
lost during this current economic crisis.

 

This is exactly the kind of destruction Democrats are hoping to bring to Texas
and the country this November. It is exactly why we must stop them. We will get
through this moment together and we will emerge stronger from it but, in the
meantime, we inch closer to November. The Republican Party of Texas cannot
