Office Associate II - Information Specialist

This is a customer service position with the Department's Information Center that provides support and assistance to the public.

The primary duties of this position will be:


* Serving as the central switchboard for the Augusta headquarters.
* Responding to numerous e-mails from the public about hunting, fishing, recreational vehicle registration/operation, wildlife, and all related laws.
* Serving as the receptionist in the front lobby assisting customers as needed.
* Assisting with the retail sale of merchandise to the public in person as well as through the online store.
* Operating various computer software for entering, maintaining, manipulating, retrieving, and printing data, as well as using a variety of other standard office equipment to complete a wide variety of tasks.

Office Associate II - Licensing and Registration

This is office and administrative support work and part of the Licensing and Registration team. The successful applicant will be a collaborative member of a small team of people whose primary responsibility is:?


* Performing complex varied office support tasks.
* Working directly with customers in person, on the phone, through the internet, and by mail.
* Providing oral and written information explaining various licensing and registration requirements in accordance with office standards.
* Administering and issuing licenses, registrations, and miscellaneous licenses and permits on the MOSES system, and through the internet.
* Processing and collecting payment for licenses and registrations (including closing out the register and balancing payments at the end of each day).
