LTSS Improvement Tool lead agency feedback survey [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* County and tribal nation leaders
* *Completion date:* Feb. 20, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS will conduct a survey to gather feedback from staff who work with LTSS Improvement Tool data extracts. This survey gives lead agencies an opportunity to share feedback that will inform changes to the LTSS Improvement Tool and the data collected.

Update to PCA remote QP supervision policy for certain populations [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* People who use PCA, their families, PCA provider agencies and other interested parties
* *Effective date:* Immediately
* *Summary:* DHS updated PCA policy to reflect a recent change in statute about remote QP visits. The QP may conduct the required supervision remotely for a person with chronic health conditions or a severely compromised immune system if they follow the required process.

Webinar announcement: Culture of Safety Orientation [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Lead agencies, tribal nations, providers and other interested parties
* *Event date:* March 5, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS offers the Culture of Safety Orientation twice a year. This webinar will cover the human factors and safety science principles that are vital to analyze critical incidents and inform decision-making.

Training announcement: Culture of Safety two-day hybrid training [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* 245D-licensed providers, tribal nations, lead agencies and other interested parties
* *Event dates:* March 18 and 20, 2024
* *Summary:* DHS will host a two-day advanced practical training that covers how to use safety science principles to respond to critical incidents, engage employees in safety and improvement efforts and analyze systemic factors related to unintended outcomes.
