Stanton steer was clinging to life and desperately needed an act of love.
Now, for this affectionate steer, every day is Valentine’s Day. He literally shows his heart to all he meets. The adorable heart-shaped marking on his head symbolizes all the love that Stanton has to give.
In 2017, his life was very different. Stanton was found in a barn filled with dirt and waste. Alone and sick, he was nestled up against one of the other calves who had drowned in the filth.
For the second time, Stanton had felt the heartless nature of the dairy industry. He had been sold to that horrible place because male calves born on dairy farms are deemed “useless,” unable to make milk.
Will you open your heart to Stanton this Valentine’s Day? Your monthly or one-time gift today will support this resilient and snuggly steer.
You’ll also inspire compassion for farm animals everywhere, bolstering our education and advocacy efforts.
When you give by February 14, you will receive a digital Valentine’s Day card featuring Stanton and an adorable graphic to help you share his moving rescue story on social media.
Plus, monthly givers will get an exclusive e-booklet of vegan Valentine’s recipes!
When Stanton arrived at Farm Sanctuary, he found a family in Jackie and Nancy cows, who kindly took in this calf denied the care of his mother. Finally, he is safe and loved like all of us want to be.
Thank you for considering a gift that helps to heal a rescued animal’s heart this Valentine’s Day!
