Remember Proposition 28? Well, in 2022, California voters made a strong statement that we want more funding for arts in the schools. This makes me happy, because I know the benefits of arts in the schools, because I went to school when we had some funding for things like art, choir, band, etc. I gained the confidence to embark on a singing career, because I was cute way back when, and could sing on pitch. My husband still thinks I'm cute, and I can sing on pitch. I'm researching a few platforms that aim to connect artists with schools, so state tuned!
