"Kayden's Law," a bill that aims to curb child custody decisions amid allegations of "parental alienation," is currently working its way through the Pennsylvania General Assembly. It's passed the Senate, and its sponsor said it appears to have enough support to clear the House of Representatives, where it awaits a vote.

Also, the Allegheny County Housing Authority is seeking a federal grant to replace a public housing complex in McKees Rocks. With the application deadline approaching, local officials and stakeholders are still debating the housing mix details
