- Defeating Soviet Communism; and,

One of the greatest presidents of all time, Ronald Reagan won the last truly dominant landslide in Presidential history, taking 49 states in 1984. And he darn-near won Minnesota despite Walter Mondale being the Democrats’ nominee.
