John, I have said it before, and I’ll say it again: I will always support reproductive freedom and access in Maryland.

In the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned, I supported the effort to protect abortion rights in Maryland, and I will not rest until that right is enshrined in our constitution. Maryland will be a safe haven for abortion access.

This year, Maryland voters will weigh in on the Reproductive Freedom Referendum, which will amend the state constitution to ratify the right to abortion and birth control.

We can and must do more to support reproductive access across our state. Our rights are constantly attacked, and with the news of the Supreme Court taking on a case on access to birth control, we must stand up to these attacks.

Organizers across the state are spreading the word on the referendum, and encouraging voters to vote YES come November.
