The House and Senate are considering two funding bills for Israel; tell them to vote NO

Dear Email,

The Senate is currently preparing to vote on a bill that would allocate nearly $10.6 billion in military aid to Israel this week. A separate bill in the House, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, proposes $ 17.6 billion in emergency aid to Israel to be voted on next week. In the face of the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, we must come together to ensure that Congress does not support the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.

TAKE ACTION NOW: TELL YOUR CONGRESS MEMBERS AND SENATORS YOU DON’T WANT YOUR TAX DOLLARS FUNDING GENOCIDE

The situation in Gaza is dire, with over 27,000 lives taken, over 1.9 million displaced, and half a million people grappling with threats of disease and starvation. We must not allow our government to further exacerbate this crisis by providing billions of dollars in military aid to Israel. While Congress has been unable to garner support for serious anti-poverty legislation like the expanded Child Tax Credit to help struggling families in the US, packages like this send tens of billions more in funds for war than funds for people – along with multi-billion dollar, retroactive tax cuts for corporations. The bipartisan consensus on prioritizing war and corporations over people must end.

I urge you to take a moment to voice your opposition to these bills by contacting your Representatives and Senators. Let them know that you stand against funding the genocide of Palestinians and that allocating billions to Israel amid evident war crimes is not in line with shared values of justice, peace, and human rights.

Thank you for your continued action for Palestine.
We can’t stop speaking up until justice is realized.

Sincerely,

Ayah Ziyadeh
