CHEYENNE ? Funding is available to support projects benefiting sage grouse and their habitats. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission expects to allocate $548,000 to support eight local Sage Grouse Working Groups to fund projects and address the primary threats to sage grouse as identified in their local conservation plans. *Groups can submit project proposals online. CHEYENNE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department won 16 awards, including seven first-place honors, in the 2023 Wyoming Press Association's Associates Contest. *The 16 awards earned the Wyoming Game and Fish Department the Best of WPA Award, which recognizes the associate member who won the most awards that year.
