America First Legal Asks Court to Immediately Force School District to Stop Radical “Gender Transitioning” of Students, Files Preliminary Injunction in PA Lawsuit
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, America First Legal (AFL) filed a preliminary injunction in its lawsuit against Pine-Richland School District regarding its radical and unconstitutional policy that keeps children’s gender ideology secret from parents and provides children with a secret “gender transition team” made up of school officials, including the school nurse, school psychologist, and principal, who will assist students in developing a plan to transition their gender.
Parents, not woke school bureaucrats, should have full control when it comes to raising their children and protecting them from the harmful social contagion fiction known as “gender transitioning.”
AFL is proud to file this preliminary injunction to stop the school district from any further indoctrination as the lawsuit proceeds in court.

“Over a century of Supreme Court case law has affirmed the fundamental right of parents to control the care and upbringing of their children. Parental rights are among the oldest fundamental liberty interests recognized by the Court. Parental rights include the right to make healthcare decisions on behalf of their child. The special parent-child bond is the bedrock of Western civilization and woke bureaucrats cannot break that bond in pursuit of their own agenda.
The arrogance of the school district is stunning and frightening. It has told parents point blank that they have no rights and it has adopted a policy that says the school district, not parents, knows what is best for children,” said Gene Hamilton.
