Friends, I’m writing today to share an exciting announcement.
My friend Gina Ortiz Jones – fellow Texan and a longtime fighter for progressive values here in our state – is launching a brand new organization called Find Out PAC that’s dedicated to holding three extremist Texas Supreme Court justices accountable for their attacks on reproductive freedoms.
Reproductive healthcare access is in a state of emergency here in Texas, so I’m asking: Will you pitch in any amount today split between Find Out PAC and me to help power this work forward?

We all know that Texas is the place where so many extreme policies are tested before folks take them nationwide, and our near-total abortion ban – and the Texas Supreme Court’s enforcement of it – is no different. We have to be more pragmatic about how we approach these sensitive issues, and here in Texas our statewide leaders just simply are not.
Just last month, the Texas Supreme Court told a pregnant Dallas mother of two that she wasn’t close enough to death or infertility to qualify for the state’s medical exception. Really? Because her DOCTOR thought she was. We must and can do better.
This November, three extremist justices on the TX Supreme Court – Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine, and Jane Bland – are up for reelection. We have a chance – I’d say responsibility – to send a message to them, to every other extremist judge out there, and to the rest of the country that messing around with our reproductive freedoms will cost you dearly.
