Friends,

Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt (a former lobbyist for the oil and gas industry) signed a memo designating a person who wanted to sell our public lands as the acting director of the Bureau of Land Management.

Now, as acting director of the BLM, William Perry Pendley will oversee more than 250 million federal acres of land.

Our way of life and our economy in the Granite State are rooted in our coastline, lakes, mountains, forests, natural surroundings, and public lands.

I am deeply concerned about the impact this appointment may have here in New Hampshire and across America. I believe our public lands must be preserved for posterity and protected from lobbyists who want to sell them off.

That's why today I'm asking you to help fight back to protect our public lands

Thanks for standing with us,
Chris
