Friends,
Just 11 days ago, Donald Trump stood at the podium in the White House Rose Garden and said, “I take no responsibility at all” for the lack of available tests during the COVID-19 outbreak.
I know that feels like a lifetime ago, but we must hold Donald Trump accountable for his failures in handling this pandemic.
Now, in just the past few days, Donald Trump has viciously lashed out at reporters in the White House Press Briefing Room for simply doing their jobs. He even took time out of a critical briefing to attack Joe Biden and ramble on about his poll numbers in Florida.
It’s shameful. As Vice President Biden often says, if we allow Donald Trump to serve a second term, it will fundamentally alter the character of this nation. I know I’m going to work day in and day out to do all I can to elect Joe Biden and defeat Donald Trump.

Moments of crisis like the one we are in now reinforce what is on the line this fall.
We can choose leadership and stability, or we can choose recklessness. And future generations will look back at this time and carefully evaluate whether we stood up for what was right or if we stood on the sidelines.
