Worth noting, the serially indicted con man's admission came on the very same day the Senate unveiled its bipartisan, comprehensive plan to tackle the country's incredibly complex immigration challenges — a deal Trump has explicitly ordered House Republicans to ignore altogether. And let's be clear, there is no scenario in which a deal this tough on the border will ever pass the Senate again. But doing so now might make Biden "look good" in the process and, well, that is a bridge too far for the Party of Donald.

JD Vance had his interview on ABC's This Week unceremoniously cut short after he casually and repeatedly suggested that presidents are above the law and can basically shit on the Constitution where and when they see fit. Stephanopoulos was having none of it, curtly thanked Vance for his time, and shut off the Ohio Republican's mic mid-sentence. This is exactly how the mainstream media should handle MAGA goons casually dressing up the overthrow of American democracy in flowery, pseudo-intellectual language. Witnesses and sources familiar with the matter said that at least three directors have used illicit substances alongside Musk. Others said they feel pressured to consume drugs with Elon out of fear of the right-wing tech bro's well-documented ire. Despite worries about Musk’s rampant drug use, though, the Tesla board has not investigated the issue, nor has it formally documented its concerns, because existential threats to multi-billion dollar companies usually resolve themselves quickly with a robust head-in-the-sand approach to not dealing with them.

Dearborn, Michigan, was forced to ramp up its police presence in response to fallout from a ludicrous opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal that cartoonishly described the city, which has the nation’s highest Muslim population per capita, as "America’s jihad capital." Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud, who happens to be Muslim, announced that city police increased security at places of worship and major infrastructure points after the op-ed drivel, entitled Welcome to Dearborn, America’s Jihad Capital, "led to an alarming increase in bigoted and Islamophobic rhetoric online targeting the city of Dearborn." No biggie, just one of the nation's most prominent, right-wing news rags platforming half-baked, blatantly Islamaphobic garbage and passing it off as legitimate journalism worthy of anyone's attention.
