NCLU

Dear Friend,

Save our country The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia recently stood behind a podium and announced the DOJ planned to charge “thousands” more Americans who were present during the January 6th protests.

So far, more than 1,200 Americans have been arrested. Through my organization, the National Constitutional Law Union (NCLU), I’m currently representing 30 of these defendants.

My trial schedule is PACKED, and I need your continued support.

My name is John Pierce. After my tour in the United States Army, I pursued a law degree at Harvard University. I was also one of the few conservative editors of the Harvard Law Review (after Obama served in that role).

We need TOUGH and relentless warriors who defend the Constitution, and that's why I gave up my lucrative law practice to pursue Constitutional Law. I never expected this to happen.

In my wildest dreams, I could not have imagined our government rounding up and arresting Americans who attended a political protest.

During the BLM riots, federal buildings were BURNED, police were assaulted en masse, and God knows how many Americans were hurt. And what happened? The Department of Justice dropped all charges against anyone involved.

But for the January 6th protesters, our government wants to send a clear message: Stand up to your masters and pay the price!

I just returned to D.C. for a hearing, and my funds are running low. The cost of airfare and hotels alone for myself, the defendants, and their families are burning through funds.

Criminal litigation is EXPENSIVE, and I’m pushing the limits of my Harvard Law degree to represent these Americans who need our help.

Will you help keep us going?

I have spent countless hours with these defendants and their families. Jobs and homes have been lost. Families have been destroyed. The DOJ's goal is to terrorize these people to set an example for us all.

What we see today are the same tactics King George III used before the Revolutionary War started. The British Crown used "writs of assistance" to carry out wide-ranging searches and arrests of anyone for anything. The tactic inspired James Madison to write the Fourth Amendment to our Constitution to protect our privacy.

Today, our government uses high-tech methods to do the same, tracking down anyone who stepped foot on Capitol grounds on January 6th and then using "anonymous" tips to determine their crimes.

Just as King George III abused his power to quell a rebellion among the colonists, our government is abusing its power to do the same.

It's 1776 all over again, and the defendants I represent are the last, best hope that our nation can continue to trust in our Constitution to keep our government in check.

My fight for these men and women isn't just about keeping them out of jail; it's about preserving the framework of our Republic. Please help me keep fighting.

Over the next three weeks, I must raise $58,000 to cover our expenses. Travel, hotels, paralegals, researchers, and assisting attorneys all need to be paid. My credit cards are MAXED out, and I'm relying on you and a handful of other patriots to help. Will you chip in today?

Every dollar helps and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time, support, and prayers.

In Vigilance,
